Webber's Mum On April 11, 2004 a strong proud and influential women in our lives exited this world in a disgraceful manner. Dying in a manner that did not reflect the way a woman of her love and strength deserved. Our mum died knowing full well the good news of the gospel of salvation by faith, the righteousness imputed to those who recognize the undeserving nature of that free gift. She knew in her heart the "Good News". However if she had also balanced it with "Good Advice", we would still have her in our homes instead of our hearts and memories. Good advice is what our service wants to offer. We have come to realize that our mother died with the same characteristics that mark the trend and pattern of many Pacific Island people. Instead of death as a dignified final stage of growth, a growing number of pacific People are experiencing death as the poorest form of health.

It was so un-dignifying watching our precious mother struggle for survival in the last days of her life. The comfort of the Good News was cold comfort for us as we watched some one who died because her life style was typical of the way we Samoans are raised. Pacific Health & Wellbeing is dedicated to assist pacific people to live and die with health and well being. We are an education service that provides simple ways to address the ever-increasing health problems that Pacific people are experiencing. Diabetes, Cancer, Heart Problems, Arthritis, Gout, Obesity and Strokes are becoming the hall mark characteristics of many of the Pacific People's death certificates.

It is our prayer that through education and correction of the lifestyle that is causing these problems our service will provide the biological conditions for our bodies to restore health to our People. While we are assured of our mother's resurrection in Jesus, her absence is all the more difficult having watch her leave us in such a disgraceful way.
